Dr. Ted Taber D.C.

Dr Ted Taber (Dr. T) graduated Cum Laude from NYCC in 1997. He was raised in Upstate NY on a dairy farm. He knows first-hand about back injuries caused by overuse. He teaches his patients that chiropractic adjustments, strengthening the core, and learning how to move differently are keys to maintaining an active lifestyle.

Attributes that he routinely uses in practice are logic and focus. He especially enjoys challenging spine cases. He earned a Certification in the Golf Fitness Instructor Program to better help his patients who golf.

In his free time, he enjoys skiing with his son, home improvement/ construction projects and playing golf. He combined two of his hobbies by designing and personally installing a putting green in the back yard.

Dr. Diane Taber D.C.

Dr. Diane Taber (Dr. Diane) is a past President of Bowie Medical and Dental Society. She felt called to the chiropractic profession at 13 years old when she had her first life-changing chiropractic adjustment for a low back lifting injury. Dr. Diane takes a holistic approach to patient care.

She routinely evaluates diet and identifies key areas that may be a source of inflammation. Further exploration of her gut feelings and intuition often lead patients down the correct road to health. She enjoys figuring out “people puzzles”. In her free time, she takes care of her family / home and serves at her church. A Kenya mission’s trip, with her family in 2024, is one of her most cherished experiences.

Someone who is new to chiropractic and isn’t sure what to expect. Those who would like more gentle hand holding or are afraid of traditional manual chiropractic adjustments.

What chiropractic techniques does Dr. Diane Taber use?
Impulse IQ adjusting instrument, drop table, Cox Flexion-Distraction, and Logan. She also does some soft tissue trigger point therapy (TPT) and Kinesio tape.

Laurie has been with the Taber Team since 2018 as an administrator and chiropractic assistant. She specializes in helping patients to navigate the insurance world and answering patient's questions about the billing process.

Through the Years - The Taber Chiropractic Family

The Doctors Taber met at NYCC (now Northeast College of Health Sciences) in Seneca Falls, NY. They graduated in 1997 and were married in 1998. They went for additional post graduate chiropractic training in ergonomics and work-related injuries. The Doctors Taber opened Taber Chiropractic, P.C., Bowie MD in 2000. The specialty focus has always been spine (back pain, neck pain, sciatica, headaches etc.). Working with other medical professionals to provide the best care has long been characteristic of this practice. In fact, Dr. Diane Taber was a past President of the Bowie Medical and Dental Society.

In 2005 they were blessed to have a son, Chase, and Dr. Diane cut back her chiropractic hours for several years to focus on her new role as Mom. But when she was ready to come back full-time in 2017, the office was a tight fit! A new chapter was opened which included a new larger location, a new name (Taber Chiropractic & Laser Spine Therapy Center), and added services (MLS Laser and Spinal Decompression).

The doctors have a unified goal of striving for high patient satisfaction through professional expert care and a well-run office…thanks to the dedicated and compassionate team. Like most married couples, they share commonalities but also have differences that are outlined above in each of his/her bios.
